Last Saturday was my 30th birthday. It was fairly low-key but I still had a very nice day.
We started off by making pancakes with caramelized apples (from our apple tree!) on top.
Then a neighbor came by to give regards (and get a belly rub!)
Lunch was a new favorite: sauteed bok choy with red peppers and onions, with Field Roast Smoked Apple Sage sausage over rice
And for dinner, we went to Fellini Restaurant for pasta and pizza, followed by a sweet birthday dessert:
